The M1917A1 Browning is a water-cooled.30 caliber medium machine gun that was used during the 20th century. It was used as a light infantry, mounted, aircraft, and anti-aircraft machine gun by the U.S. and many other countries, especially during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. This weapon saw much use in the hot jungle environments because the ability to shoot longer periods of time without fear of "burning" the barrel.
